Graeme Jacobs Is in A Trouble

  I read on a politic article, and it is about Graeme Jacobs. The reason why I choose this article is that I think this news is interesting. I think he is a confident man, but he is also intolerant. Graeme Jacobs was a Water Minister. Moreover, the Premier asked him to quit his job.

  Three months ago, Kim Taylor, the Director General of the Department of water, was dismissed Dr Jacobs. It was because they had many problems with each other. Furthermore, there were many records that Dr Jacobs disputed with Mr Taylor. The Prime Minister said that if Dr Jacob did not leave his job, he would sack Dr Jacobs to leave his job. Dr Jacob refused the accusations. He said that he just discussed about changing the policy direction of the Water Department. Premier said that Dr Jacobs could do better than this, but not deserve to lose his job. Dr Jacobs said he apologized to Mr Taylor, but it was not Dr Jacobs's fault.

The Independent Commission Against Corruption For Lobbyists

  I read an article, and it was about lobbyist overstatement. The reason that I choose this article is that it is quite appealing. I think if  lobbyists have an ability to take advantage to themselves, it is quite dangerous. In fact, a lobbyist is a person who tries to persuade to use legislations, and they serve a meaningful part.

  In New South Wales, Nathan Rees, the prime minister, told the Independent Commission Against Corruption that lobbyists has been overstated. Mr Rees said lobbyist had powerful and powerful as well. Therefore, he had to control them. Mr Rees said he was finding at potential corruption risk. Furthermore, he said that they were helped by journalists. Mr Rees said lobbyists was important because the big firms do not know how governments work.

  As for me, the article was really confusing. However, I think the governments should not give a power too much to lobbyist. It is because they could take things to granted. Disaster of ACCC Boss

  I read on a business article, and it is about the trouble of ACCC boss. I choose this article because I want to know more about this kind of business, but I really do not want to stick in this situation. However, His name is Graeme Samuel. He is the leader of the Australian Competition and Consumer commission. He is one of members of the Australian Communications and Media Authority. Moreover, he was the president of the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

  Graeme Samuel, ACCC boss, could lose more than 50 million dollar with a huge debts. Samuel is the owner of DFO, Austexx. He said that his family's most valued property is the australian newspaper the stake in the firm. Besides, Austexx has been trying to sell the company with debt of 1 billion dollar.

New Product From Macquarie

 It is about a new product from Macquarie. The reason why I choose this article is Macquarie is a big company, so many people interested about it, including me. Furthermore, they told us many strategies, demands and supplies for business. Consequently, it is a advantageous news.

  Regarding the first, Macquarie Agricultural Funds Management is the firm that launches investment funds and services for investors. They had sent off a crop fund on grain and oilseed production in Australia and Brazil. They said that the fund went straight to get investors with made income gradually by the sale of the produce. They needed people turn to eat more healthy food. Besides, Macquarie said that the large properties and agricultural industries were at Australia and Brazil. Thus, this is the reason why Macquarie were chosen Australia and Brazil.

Praiseful People from GREAT NORTHERN CLEAN UP 2010

  I read this news, and it is about registrations for people who want to clean Australia. I choose this news because there are too many pollutions today, so it is a really good thing to do that.  Nowadays, there are too many trashes in this world, so this registration is one way to clean up the Earth.

  First of all, Australians noticed that March weather made many garbages there. Therefore, they set up GREAT NORTHERN CLEAN UP to make things clean before the rain is come. The member, Ian Kiernan, said that there was about 90 tons of trashes removed. Amazingly, there were approximately 1800 volunteers across Northern Australia. He said that it was fantastic. They knew that they needed to clean garbages such as bottles, plastic bags, cans and cigarette butts before the rain picks them into the sea. As we known, it will make the sea unclean, and then it can harm all living things in the sea, including Australians.

Pollution Lost!

  The article is about electricity in Australia. The reason why I choose this article is that it is very interesting about emissions generated because I did not study about emissions generated before. However, this article is about the electricity emitted generated in Australia, and there was 11 per cent rise in renewable power.

  In Australia, the emissions generated by electricity decrease last year. Moreover, there was 2.5 per cent fell of pollution levels while renewable power increased dramatically to 11 per cent. Surprisingly, the most greenhouse intensive power stations made more, and coal emitted was down. Therefore, we should use the variable powers that gain less greenhouse pollution rather than the powers that gain more greenhouse pollution. More significant detail is that Victoria, New South Wales, Yallourn and Bayswater had the five dirtiest coal-fired power stations.

The Reason Why Jacky, Callum and Michell Have Been Waiting Here Since Yesterday!

  I read an article, it is about interviewing 3 Australians who were sitting since yesterday, morning. They said that they were waiting for new products from Apple. Apple is the company that developed many new technogy such as computer softwares, hardwares, and digital distributions.  The most popular product is iPhone. The reason why I choose this article is that I am a big fan of these products too.

  There was 3 Australians, named Jack, Callum, Mitch, who have been waiting at iStudio for very long time. Callum said that he would be making a major upgrade his phone to iPhone 4. He would develope a flip phone to use new micro-SIM cards. After that, Jack said that he looking forward to improve the camera that allows in high definition. “It’s like you don’t have to carry around a camera anymore — it is good enough quality,” said he. Jack said that he own at least five Apple products. In fact, Optus showed that there were more than 100,000 people pre-register for iPhone 4 info today.

 In my opinion, I think these 3 guys had good ideas, but it sounded like they were crazy. They waited there more than 8 hours! However, I understand that. It is very exciting to wait for the new product especially Apple. Read full news, click here.

 

The Changing of Sea Level

  This news is about the level of the sea. The reason why I choose this news is that it is a big problem about level of water . In fact, it is really bad if we cannot control about the sea level. It is bacause the water is an important natural resource. If there is too much water, we cannot destroy it, and the water is everywhere. If there is no water, all living things will die as well. Therefore, we need to have ability to control the sea level.

  First of all, it is about a sea level. The sea level was not stable. In the present, natural methods on Earth was changing. In the past, the level of a sea has been more than 120 metres higher than present day level. Professor Dietmar Müller, a geophysicist from University of Sydney, explained his view that the fact was we lived on a dynamic planet, even in the absence of human-induced warming, and sea levels would change gradually. He said that the way to solve this problem is that we need identify our contributions to sea level change from natural variations.

Disaster Style of Sam Worthington!

  I read this article. It's about Sam Worthington did a fake tanning. Sam Worthington, Samuel Henry Worthington, is a famous actor of Australia. He starred as Jake Sully in Avatar, the best movie in 2009. However, the fake tanning that I am talking about is in the “Clash of the Titans” movie.

  Sam said that he was embarrassed about that fake tanning, and that fake tan products turned him green. He played as Perseus who is the Greek god. The producer wanted fake tan turned him darker and lathered. Shockingly, it made him turned to be a green monster. He said “That was horrible. That was the hardest part of it. I'm a pale Australian, which is an oxymoron in itself. I did try to get tanned and then I peeled like Ralph Fiennes in The English Patient, so I loofah'd (scrubbed) it off – and it went green”. That is so sad.

  As for me, I think he looked not that bad. I can see a little bit green on his body, but I think if he did not mention about it, no one knows. Anyway, I think the movie was completely good, even though he was green. To go to this news, click here.

  I choose this news because Nicole Kidman is one of my favorite actresses. Nicole is Australian. She looks pretty and smart, and I follow her every movies such as “The Others”, “Moulin Rouge” and “The Hours”. Moreover, she always fabulous! However, this news is talking about her fashion choice. 

 It's “Hit” or “Miss” that Kidman dressed up a black and white mini dress at Sunday night's Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas, and they think she thought wrong. On the other hand, the producer of “Monte Carlo” film made a decision to give Nicole's script to Selena Gomez, the American singer. It is because he thought that Nicole is too old for this script, and it is terrible for Kidman.
  Personally, I think her fashion choice was not that bad. She still looked good on that night. However, the point that Selena stole her script is a little bit embarrassed.   I read on a transport new, and it is about new car product from Ford. I choose this article because my friends are quite interested about cars, so I want to know more about the cars. Focus RS is a high operation version of the Ford product, and it is starting to be famous cars.

 Recently, the Focus RS was sending to sell in Australia. The set to sell of Focus RS is approximately 60,000 Australian dollar. Focus RS has three potent which are Subaru Impreza WRX STi, Mitsubishi's Evo X, and VW's new Golf R. They said that qualified cars always are in United Kingdom though they said confidently that Focus RS will give them lots of benefit. However, there are just 315 cars for three colours which are dark blue, green and white.

 This news is about refuellers continue striking. The reason why I choose this news is that it looks interesting that how the employers solve this problem.

 The permanent staff and casual employees were teamed up to strike because they were dissatisfied about their income. However, Felicity Wilson said “We don't expect there to be any impact on flights or the travelling public”. She said that she will hire qualified refuellers.

Suspensions of Students

 I read on the education article, and it was about the problem of children. The reason why I choose this article is that it is kind of a serious problem.
  Stephen Breen, the Primary Principals Association president, said that children are out of control. The parents are really concern about this. In fact, there are approximately 35 percent that being sent home in the past. This problem affects many ways such as communication and school. In 2008, there was 190 suspensions among the first year students, and the number of statistic was up to 258 suspensions in the lastest figures while the suspensions number of kindergarten and pre-primary class were increase dramatically from 80 to 90. Plus, there were 11,417 students that were suspended, and the number was rocketed to 12,529 in WA in the lastest figure.

  I read an article. It was about opening to study at Australia. The reason why I choose this article is that it is  opportunity for many people who are interesting about studying abroad, including me.

  It is a famous country for students who study abroad, and Australia is the third greatest of international education system. Furthermore, Australia also has many cultures which came by international students. In this year, Australia's education system persuades the international students to study their country. Many people came to Australia to learn the Aussie lifestyle. Moreover, tuition fees are inexpensive.

Sharks Beat Spain for Semi-Finals

 This article is about competition of the Australian water polo. I choose this article because water polo is not that famous, so I need to know about this sport.

 Firstly, Australia Team, called The Aussie Sharks, won Spain 6-5, and the Aussie Sharks entered the semi-finals in a second place. Before that, they beat Croatia, the third place in the world, for 10-7. John Fox is the head coach of the Aussie Sharks, and he was extremely happy and proud. He said he was disappointed in the second quarter, but they run to goal at the end. James Stanton,the 151st international goalkeeper, Rhys Howden, and Sam McGregor were stood up proudly with a big number of saves in Beijing Olympians.

  
Personally, the Aussie Sharks did very well. To enter in semi-finals is not easy. Therefore, they should prepare for the final round, and I will keep my fingers crossed for them. For more information, click here.

David Moyes Backs To Australia

 This news is about David Moyes. I choose this article because I do really interested about soccer. David Moyes is a football manager, and he is a Scotsman. He is managing Everton club, but before that he was a great player. Many people knew him as a Scottish boss with full of praise.
  First, this interview is about his opinion about Fifa World Cup in 2022. He wants Australia to host it.
David Moyes, the Everton manager, went to Australia to host the 2022 Fifa World Cup. In 2010, Moyes was presented South Africa 2010 as a commentator. He said that Australia should get the World Cup. It is because they have got great stadium. Although, their pitches are not that good, he said. Nevertheless, Jack Rodwell said that he'd been quite impressed of the pitches, though English Premier League is better if you compare to Australia. Moyes said the matches were not exciting in South Africa, but it started to be exciting when the second and third games were started.
